This VCR-made remix was created by an unnamed student at Florida State University in 1994 by combining footage from Sesame Street with the protest rap song “Fuck the Police” from N.W.A’s 1988 album Straight Outta Compton. The result is a humorous juxtaposition of the lovable, but now fed up, Kermit the Frog singing (in Ice T’s voice) lyrics highlighting the widespread police brutality against black urban youth in the United States.

So naturally this was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this:

Now these are exciting times. Technology is running like Usain Bolt is chasing her to sell her something and the world around us is moving deeper and deeper into the Matrix and to a digital life. Everybody wants to get a piece, or even better the whole pie, of that digitalization. Google is dominating the search but wants social digital media, Apple has mobile hardware and music but wants  social media and the cloud, amazon has online selling but silently wants more and so forth and so forth. This latest effort by Google, called Project Glass, is a product, even as a prototype, of that war and, sadly as many before it, this one looks really good. If nothing else it sets the path for another battle, that of interaction, display and augmented reality.
My hope is that the battles go on for ever, because the ones that will lay down wounded in the battlefield are big corporations, but the victors will always be us, the users, with all the new products and services that the battles produce.

If I had one, and I am seriously considering it, I would definitively put it in one of those beauties. Lovely idea very well executed. The price is a bit steep but the leather hopefully makes up for it.

Moving Brands worked with CX, a cloud storage service, to help them meet their key business objective; to be a market-leader in the already-crowded online storage market.
As always the output is brilliant and this is a small film they made, called the CX Journey film, documenting the way they went about it.

A brilliant, although sounds rather dangerous when mixing water – even frozen – and electricity, idea very well executed and with no aparent reason other than the sear pleasure of creativity.

Web site design for a portal building and decorating your home. The creators of the site wanted to fill the gap of a one stop place for everything from construction to furniture and interior design. The architecture of the site is broken down to two major departments, decoration and development, with each one having a set of categories and subcategories. Each category and subcategory has articles, photos and partners attached to it. The work produced included the design of the logo and identity, page templates and in partnering with a developer a custom CMS. Also a google ads campaign to boost page clicks was created and maintained.
